Recently, I stumbled upon a press release written about MLMScamZone.com. This is apparently an unbiased site that basically puts down all network marketing companies (MLM's) as scams. That is, until the owner joined an MLM. The release said, in part, "This single MLM opportunity was discovered to have the highest potential for earnings and successes, without any scams or hidden chances for failure that aren’t visible upon initial registration."
I wrote an article about bogus review sites back in February 2005. This sites purport to give you truthful, unbiased information.
So, how do you tell the difference between a legitimate review site (like mine) and one that isn't?
Well, let's take MLMScamZone as an example. At the bottom of the page it has a link entitled "The Only MLM Program We Recommend".
Wanna guess who that link might belong to?
WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!
Unfortunately, there are a lot of shyster review sites out there. They "review" tons of companies and individuals in the home business opportunity market. Almost 100% of the articles are negative. And.....they all end with a link purporting to show you the promised land (which just happens to be the owner's site).
Don't let anyone fool you. There are many good companies out there. Anyone who says there is only one is plain lying to you.
Want to know the kicker?
I put Mr. MLMScamZone's company into a search engine to see if there were any posts about HIS company being a scam.
