If you are looking for web site design software that’s easy enough for a kid to use, you must check out XSitePro. But even if you’re a web design pro, you’ll love XSitePro’s cool features.
You guys may recall it took me six months, two books, and a video series before I could figure out Dreamweaver. Many times I was ready to literally throw my laptop in the pool. And, quite honestly, I still haven't figured it all out.
If you haven’t built your first web site, Paul Smithson, the develop is here to help. Boy do I wish he had been there when I first got started. If you’ve never built a site before, you’ll love the fact that there is no HTML required. If you know how to type (or hunt and peck!), you can build a site.
There’s a lot of meat here. The manual that comes with the software is 320 pages .. a bit overwhelming! But, you can get started with the ten lesson tutorial PDF which is only 100 pages. This will get you started quickly.
Some of the things I like about XSitePro include:
Build search engine optimized pages is really cumbersome when you’re first building web pages. You’ll feel really confident that your pages are optimized by using this software.
The software automatically generates footer menus, site maps, link pages and other site enhancers. This ensures that you have a really complete site when you’re done. And, if you’re an experienced web master, you’ll love how quickly you can build these pages.
Another thing I like to the fact that it has a built-in pop-in window that can’t be detected by pop-up blockers. This is so much easier than getting a script and then trying to figure out what to do with it!
I also like how it walks you through site design and whether you are building several sites among a theme. This is covered in the tutorial.
For those building content sites, it gives you the ability to build the framework for your content site quickly and easily. It also provides an easy way to add content-rich articles to your site absolutely free. And it does all of this so quickly it’ll make your head spin.
The software automatically provides a checklist of actions I need to take. For instance, if my page isn’t optimized properly for the search engines, it will tell me as well as make suggestions for improvement.
Paul is making sure that this software stays relavent. For instance, when Google announced it’s site maps, Paul announced that a new version of his software would address this addition. I happened to get an email from a marketer selling software to generate this site map – and was selling it for about the same price as this entire software package. Believe me, this is a bargain!
The only downside I can report is that if you are used to coding web sites this will take a little getting used to. You can breeze through the Tutorial PDF pretty quickly and then move on to the thicker manual as needed. You have plenty of risk-free time to check it out, as Paul Smithson gives you up to 365 days. So, you’ll have more than enough time to build a site from scratch quicker than you ever imagined.
I’ll be doing a video shortly showing you how I’m putting sites together with this tool. I love it!
